# Hybrid Conference Services

Here are a list of the services used for the conference which can be shared with new organisers:

## Discord

Discord is a community chat system which doesn't require a user account to get started. ACMC started using Discord in 2020, it's good for back-channel chats with participants and between organisers during the conferece.

## Youtube

ACMA has a YouTube Channnel: <https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKK95K68yVuok-qWNS4Z6Jw>

In 2020 the whole conference content was put on the channel (all performances, papers, and keynotes). In 2021, the keynotes and performances were streamed to the channel.

The committe has experience using OBS to stream to YouTube as well as other channels, so this is a possibility for future conferences.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://acma.gitbook.io/acmc-cookbook/hybrid-conference-services.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
